There was a blind girl who hated herself just because she’s blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He’s always there for her.
She said that if she could only see the world, she would marry her boyfriend. One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her and then she can see everything, including her boyfriend.
Her boyfriend asked her, “now that you can see the world, will you marry me?” The girl was shocked when she saw that her boyfriend is blind too, and refused to marry him.
Her boyfriend walked away in tears, and later wrote a letter to her saying –
“Just take care of my eyes dear”.

I loved this idea and so I used it as an inspo for a book I’m currently writing on Wattpad. It’s called A Love So Blind by @goldenrozes_ .

This is just a tragic love story… I don’t think the girl refused to marry him because he was blind too, nor because she was aware and/or ungrateful to him for his eyesight, nor for the fact that he didn’t even argue with her about the fact that he was blind because he gave her his eyes because he wanted to marry her… Love stays, it does not walk away, love may have misunderstandings but would not just throw it all way like these two people did with their love… On the other habd real love seeks not to possess or influence another, it allows for total freedom and in this context, then, this story ended quite well… If they loved each other these two people would have stayed together, and maybe the ending was cut a bit short, with no room for regret, after-thought, a little time, and reconciliation???
